Why this artwork came to life

Sometimes you don't need a new destination. Just the courage to see a familiar place differently.

One day I simply picked up my palette knives and walked into the small garden outside my front door. Under my banana tree.

For the very first time, I painted outdoors. It felt unfamiliar. And strangely... completely natural. As I worked, something unexpected happened.

For the first time in a long time, I wasn't thinking about where I'd rather be. I wasn't wishing for a bigger studio. A different place. A better moment.

I was simply... there.

And somewhere between the leaves, the paint and the silence... SECRET GARDEN appeared.

🗝️You were never lost. You just kept postponing yourself.

Ever since, this painting has reminded me that sometimes we don't need to find somewhere new. We simply need to notice where we already are.
