Some songs keep you company. Others refuse to leave. Sarah Connor's "Vincent" belonged firmly in the second category.

I played it on repeat. Not because I wanted to analyse every lyric. But because it kept asking a question that reaches far beyond the song itself.

How often do we believe we have to become someone else before we're worthy of being loved?

A little more successful.

A little braver.

A little more polished.

A little less ourselves.

As this artwork emerged, something became wonderfully obvious. Perhaps we've spent years renovating a personality that was never broken in the first place.
