Questions & Answers
You Have Questions. I Have Answers.
At least most of them. 😉
Everything you ever wanted to know about a WohnungsReading — before you suddenly start seeing your home in a completely different light.
FIRST THINGS FIRST: WHAT IS THIS, EXACTLY?
💡 What exactly is a WohnungsReading - and what will it do for me?
A WohnungsReading is not interior advice. And it’s definitely not a glimpse into the future.
I read your home as a source of information about you.
Because your rooms contain far more information about you than you probably realise: in the things you choose, keep, avoid, rearrange again and again - or simply stop noticing because you see them every single day.
I connect those observations into patterns and relationships, and make visible what you may have been overlooking yourself.
Not so I can tell you who you are.
But so you can recognise what has been sitting right there in front of you all along.
And sometimes, an impulse comes from a slightly different direction, too.
Welcome to the WOO. 🗝️
💡 What exactly do you read in my home?
Anything that might tell me something about you.
How you use your rooms. What you put on display. What you hide. What stays. What has been allowed to leave. What never quite found its proper place. Which things keep catching your attention - and which ones you barely notice anymore.
I look for connections, contradictions and patterns.
Not at the question: “Is it beautiful?”
But at the much more interesting one:
“Why is it like this?”
💡 But how can you know anything about me from my home?
Because a home isn't simply made up of furniture.
It's the result of countless decisions - conscious and unconscious.
You chose things. Arranged them. Changed them. Added to them. Defended them. Let some of them go. And sometimes, frankly, probably just put something somewhere because you couldn't be bothered anymore. 😂
Those traces are what make a room interesting.
As an interior architect, I learned to observe spaces very closely.
Over time, I started seeing not just design, but information.
And eventually, that became WohnungsReadings.
💡 What do your horns have to do with any of this?
The horns are my antennas into the WOO.
Some of what I see in a home can be observed, compared and connected.
And then there are those other moments:
A thought appears.
A connection suddenly clicks.
A detail catches my attention.
Sometimes I don't even know why.
I call them my WOO antennas.
You can call it intuition. I call it: Welcome to the WOO. 😉
AND THEN WHAT HAPPENS?
💡 Do you tell me what I should change?
No.
If you're looking for a new sofa, my former life as an interior architect might actually come in handy. 😉
But a WohnungsReading is something else.
I'm not going to tell you:
“Move the sofa to the left.”
I show you what your home is already telling you.
What you do with that is up to you.
Because the most interesting change doesn't happen in the position of your furniture.
It happens in the moment you recognise something.
💡 What happens after a WohnungsReading?
Sometimes: little miracles.
You get rid of the chair because you suddenly realise it represents everything you no longer want in your life.
Or you get rid of your husband.
Yes, that has happened too. 😉
Maybe your home office finally becomes properly yours again.
Maybe your children — who previously refused point-blank to tidy their rooms — suddenly start shaping their space according to their own ideas, simply because they've seen what can happen when you're honest with yourself.
A Reading doesn't give you a to-do list.
It changes the way you see.
And sometimes, that's all it takes for something to start moving.
Sometimes it's just a chair.
Sometimes an entire room.
And sometimes … well.
An entire chapter of your life.
You can find those stories in the reviews. 🗝️
💡 Can I learn to read my own home?
Yes. And that's actually the bit I find most exciting.
A WohnungsReading isn't meant to mean that you'll forever need someone else to explain what your home is telling you.
I want you to eventually notice it yourself:
“Hang on. There it is again.”
You recognise a pattern.
You spot a blind spot.
You notice sooner that you're drifting back in an old direction.
Your home doesn't become an oracle.
It becomes a pretty good observation post. 👀
💡 Does my home need to be particularly interesting?
No.
It doesn't have to be big. Perfectly styled. Particularly stylish. And please, absolutely not Pinterest-worthy.
A completely ordinary home can tell you an extraordinary amount.
Maybe even more.
Because I'm not looking for spectacular rooms.
I'm looking for the traces they contain.
BUT DO I HAVE TO BELIEVE IN ANY OF THIS?
💡 Do I need to believe in spirituality, Tarot or the WOO?
No.
You don't need to read Tarot, know anything about astrology or subscribe to any particular spiritual system.
You don't even have to be convinced that my horns have particularly impressive reception capabilities. 😂
All you need is a willingness to look a little closer.
The rest can reveal itself.
💡 What if I think my home is completely normal?
Then it gets particularly interesting.
Because what feels completely ordinary to you can be surprisingly revealing to someone looking from the outside.
After all, you live there every day.
You see your home so often that you barely see it anymore.
That's where I come in.
💡 What if I don't even know what I'm looking for?
That's often a pretty good place to start.
If you're not looking for anything specific, you don't have to find something that fits your existing ideas either.
You can simply look.
Let yourself be surprised.
And maybe find yourself drawn to something you would never have chosen before.
Sometimes something new begins exactly where we stop looking for it.
AND WHICH ONE IS FOR ME?
💡 What do I need for a WohnungsReading?
That depends on which Reading you choose.
For some Readings, I'll need photos or a short glimpse into your space. Others give you a different way of accessing the information already sitting inside your home.
You don't need to tidy up first.
In fact, please don't tidy up especially for me. That would be a bit like retouching your symptoms before going to the doctor. 😉
The home you actually live in is the interesting one.
💡 Which WohnungsReading is right for me?
That depends on where you're stuck right now.
Are you looking at a specific situation from a new angle?
Want to spot a blind spot?
Need an impulse to get something moving?
Or simply want to listen to your home properly for once?
The individual Readings differ in depth and format.
You don't need to know which one is the “right” one.
If you find yourself reading an offer and thinking:
“Oof. That's suspiciously interesting.”
… I'd start there. 😏
💡 What's the difference between the individual Readings?
They mainly differ in how deeply we look and how you receive the impulse.
27SECONDS gives you a quick, personal outside perspective: you send me a short glimpse into your space and I turn it into three impulses that can help shift a stuck perspective.
WHISPERING WALLS works differently: here, you go exploring yourself, with impulses designed to help you see your rooms — and yourself — from a different angle.
The other Readings take a more focused look at blind spots, specific questions or a deeper personal exploration.
In short: some Readings give you an impulse. Others open a door. And with some, we walk through it for a while.
Still not sure?
Maybe you don't need to know which Reading you need just yet.
Sometimes, all it takes is one question to find the right door.
