Why this artwork came to life

Some paintings begin with an idea. This one didn't. I'd just finished another artwork. There was still paint left on the palette.

So I reached for a small canvas. No plan. No sketch. No expectations. And somehow this painting quietly appeared.

Not every light appears in the sky. Sometimes it begins within you.

Almost as if it had been patiently waiting for permission to exist. Perhaps that's why I love SHOOTING STAR so much.

It reminds me that not everything beautiful has to be planned. Sometimes life knows exactly what it's doing long before we do.
